Artist Statement

    

           I passionately believe in the positive effects unlocked during the act of creating art. The process is a healing journey which has had profound effects in my life. My dream is to share that experience with the world. Bringing people together through observing and creating art.

              My contemporary approach is highly aleatoric, but yet through my exploration of contrast, works that are contrived appear amongst my oeuvre aswell. I ultimately decide my artistic direction through an ever changing course of events in life.  Allowing influence on my work to be a reflection of reality.

          

       In my art I utilize strong contrast and bold colour to achieve dramatic effects. A quest for original essence is an ever present theme in my work.  This is evident through differing motifs consistent in my artwork.
